Director Of Training, Outreach and Advocacy

The Minnesota Certification Board is looking for someone who is responsible for planning, organization, and direction of the organization’s training, outreach, and Advocacy programs. Identify training needs, designing, and delivering training programs and evaluating their effectiveness. Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer & board of Directors to identify, create, and implement strategic plans to actualize business objectives. Develop partnerships with company stakeholders, shareholders, industry regulators and other relevant parties. This position builds and supports both internal and external processes as they relate to those seeking and maintaining credentials in alcohol and drug counselors, co-occurring disorder professionals, criminal justice professionals, prevention professionals, peer recovery professionals, and other related professionals. Oversees all aspects of the cultural diversity trainings and outreach to culturally specific communities to promote education and training of Certified Peer Recovery Specialists and ongoing training for existing applicants credentialed through the Minnesota Certification Board.
